Full Time Counter Sales Position Available at Ironstone Building Materials in Centerville/Lancaster
Job Description:
Assist customers and contractors by providing quotes and product dimension
information, both in person and over the phone.
Essential Job Duties:
- Responds to customer inquiries regarding product selection, placement of
orders, requests for prices and quotations, complaints and scheduling of deliveries.
- Initiates telephone calls to customers to generate sales
- Handles telephone calls, writes orders, resolves problems
- Provides accurate and complete material estimates and invoices
- Coordinates purchase and delivery of products. Obtains information on
pricing specifications, uses and availability.
- Creates accurate and complete estimates and invoices.
- Maintains stock levels in the showroom.
- Operates cash register daily.
- Works Saturday 8-2 with a day off mid week
