Position Objective

-Be part of the core assembly team for all ATOMIC Homes Projects

Core Responsibilities

-Familiar with overall Homes production process.

-Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists, gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.

-Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.

-Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies.

-Aid in the fabrication, maintenance, and repair of parts and/or equipment.

-Ensuring quality control requirements are maintained throughout the production process.

-Maintain supplies inventory; anticipating needs; expediting orders and verifying receipts.

-Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.

-Provide skilled contributions in any ATOMIC Profit Center and position as needed.

-Contribute to the development of a safety culture.

Reporting and Organizational Relationships

-The Assembly Technician reports to the Director of Floor Operations.

Desired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

-Multidisciplined skillset (e.g., carpentry, electricity, plumbing and HVAC).

-Ability to use to tools and machines within a manufacturing facility

-Ability to read drawings, blueprints and ground plans.

-Communication skills.

-Ability to prioritize.
