Overview:

Seeking a qualified individual to repair and maintain drill equipment, hoe-rams, tractor-trailers, and light duty vehicles. This individual will work out of our Bethel, PA office, traveling as needed throughout Central and Eastern PA & surrounding areas. Mechanic will perform repairs and services both in a garage environment and at various job sites.

Responsibilities:

Replace and repair broken equipment

Perform PM on equipment

Trouble shoot mechanical equipment and systems such as motors, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical components

Follow all Company safety policies and procedures

Perform field services and repairs on various equipment

Coordinate with Equipment Manager on needed parts & supplies necessary to repair and rebuild items

Use and operate all hand and power tools in a safe and effective manner

View safety as paramount and pro-actively identify safety hazards

Complete accurate required maintenance documents and records

Participate in Equipment Manager meetings as needed

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

High School Diploma

Two Year Technical Degree or ASE Type Certification desired

Three or more years experience working as a service technician desired

Must have own hand tools up to 1 5/8

Must be a self starter and have the ability to work with limited supervision

Must have good driving record

Must be able to work and travel out of state

Must be able to obtain DOT Medical Card

Desired Core skills include: Mechanical, hydraulics and pneumatics, diesel motors, welding, electrical systems, and PLC skills

Physical Requirements:

Ability to perform essential functions of the position

Ability to lift 50 - 75 lbs., 30 - 40% of the time

Work on uneven and loose surfaces in varying weather environments

Stooping and bending 30 - 40% of the time
