Lead Carpenter Residential Construction

Coordinate a variety of projects from start to finish interior remodeling, exterior remodeling, additions, finished basements, etc.
Build meaningful and trusting relationships with our homeowners through frequent communication about the progress and schedule of the project.
Communicate with our subcontracted trade partners to ensure they have a clear understanding of the vision for the project.
Ensure that the home is protected and kept clean for the duration of the project.
Review each step in the process to ensure that quality standards are being met.
Work on various steps of the process as your skill set allows including demo, site prep,
framing, window/door installation, trim work, punch list projects, etc.
Milestone Construction is looking for a Lead Carpenter to work alongside our subs at job sites. We are a small family owned construction team, who have built our business by providing great customer experiences that bring referrals. We value people and that filters out into how we treat our trade partners, our clients and each other. Our Lead Carpenter will start out working alongside our current Lead Carpenter learning about our projects, getting to know our trade partners, learning our company culture and gaining insights into how we approach projects. Then our Lead Carpenter will start to coordinate their own projects.

Our Ideal Lead Carpenter¦.
Skilled: 3+ years of experience in the residential construction industry could be interior/exterior remodeling or new home construction AND a willingness to learn and grow in new areas.
Communicator: Success in this role will require effective communication with the homeowner, the Milestone team and our subcontracted trade partners.
Detailed: Able to take care of all the little details of the project that ensure that meets customer expectations and is completed on time.
Team Player: Humble enough to admit mistakes. Driven to do a great job. Excellent interpersonal skills.
Active: Able to lift to 100 lbs., work in a physically demanding job, use hand tools and work from a ladder.
Quality Focused: We focus on quality and craftsmanship. Must be willing to hold our trade partners to our standard of work and address concerns if needed.
Diplomatic: Able to navigate challenging conversations with homeowners and/or trade partners with grace and truth.
