Does this describe you?
A hard working quick learner who is unafraid of heights, great with their hands and able to work safely and efficiently using all required PPE
A team player, with the ability to effectively communicate with others
Ability to read drawings and apply NEC code requirements
Ability to travel and be away from home, as needed
Experience in various types of construction, ideally in roofing and/or electrical installations
Currently possess or the willingness to obtain OSHA 10, First Aid and CPR training and certification
At least 21 years of age with a clean or excellent driving record
Excited about the future of solar energy
A 2-year trade school graduate and/or Apprentice, Journeyman or Master Electrician license holder preferred
Position Overview
Our Solar PV Installers are a key part of our team and they perform the tasks listed below using engineering drawings, standard industry practices and recognized industry codes and specifications:
Site preparation prior to installation of solar electrical generation and AC interconnection equipment
Mount racking, posts and other support equipment for mounting solar panels
Mount inverters, disconnects, meters and accessories, and perform DC and AC wiring
Trenching, concrete and rebar work to install underground wiring and create system foundations
Perform trouble-shooting as required
Maintain all equipment in good and clean condition
Residential, commercial and industrial wiring to connect solar panels and inverters to existing electrical system, according to codes and best practices
