We are looking for experienced, professional Fleet Mechanic.
Responsibilities/Duties:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily:
-Use hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, pressure gauges, and precision instruments, as well as power tools such as pneumatic wrenches, jacks and hoists.
-Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings, and other important parts to ensure that they are in proper operating condition.
- Perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and machinery.
-Adjust and reline brakes, align wheels, tighten bolts and screws and reassemble equipment.
-Raise trucks, trailers and heavy parts or equipment using hydraulic jacks or hoists.
- Examine and adjust protective guards, loose bolts, specified safety devices.
- Inspect, repair, and maintain automotive and mechanical equipment and machinery such as pumps and compressors.
- All other duties assigned by Management.
Qualifications and Skills
-Valid Driver's License
-Minimum 2 years of related experience
-Exposure to working on diesel engines is helpful
-Ability to build relationships with external suppliers and maintenance shops.
