Utilize your knowledge and counseling skills to help our students identify their need for rehabilitation while collaborating with clinicians and other professionals to develop individualized treatment objectives. Counselors facilitate both group and individual counseling sessions in order to assist students with achieving their clinical objectives. Extensive training is provided to all Drug and Alcohol Counselors to assist them in not only providing therapy but also evaluating treatment efficacy and communicating progress updates to the clinical team. The Academy Schools also provides the training and supervision necessary to earn advanced addictions counseling certification through the Pennsylvania Certification Board.
