Description Robert Half is in the process of hiring an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk with a company in the Wholesale Distribution field. Become an integral part of a company in the Wholesale Distribution industry as an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk. This Accounts Payable Clerk opportunity will be located in the Moon Twp, Pennsylvania area and will be a long-term contract / temporary position. In this dynamic department, career growth and quick advancement is possible. The Accounts Payable Clerk will be required to match and batch code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks.ResponsibilitiesOpen, organize, and distribute department mail daily
Validate, record and send checks, including expediting special handling
Maintain proper storage of invoices, checks, and other documents by organizing, logging, scanning, and filing them
Handle administrative tasks for the AP/Finance Department
Perform daily processes and controls correctly and punctually, ensuring company policies are followed
Carry out additional projects as required
Provide support during internal and external audits
Manage full-cycle A/P
Handle the customer service needs of internal business partners Requirements - AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
High attention to detail and possesses excellent organizational and writing skills
Demonstrated communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds
Accounts Payable (AP) experience
Microsoft Excel experience desired
0+ years of experience in an A/P role preferred
