Research and evaluate technology to help define SAPs baseline detection technology. Focus on technology configuration and solution optimizations, as well as detection gap identification and closure. Work closely with our Red-Team, SIEM engineering and IR as well as operational IT teams to help stand up and optimize defensive capabilities. 10% travel required.Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field of study and 6 years of experience required. The company will also accept a Master's degree and 4 years of experience.Work Experience:Experience must involve 4 years in the following: IT security principles and cloud; Threat detection operations (TDO) and security engineering; Operating systems (Window/Linux/Mac); Application and infrastructure (network/compute) security; and Scripting (Python/Powershell).Travel: 10% travel required.Internal use only: reference code lhrs4262EX:OUTPlease Note: SAP has implemented temporary changes to SAPs internal transfer policy applicable to transfer offers made on or after August 1, 2022 and effective globally within SAP except in the following countries, where the new compensation is still effective as of the transfer date: Germany, France, Netherlands, Austria, Brazil, Czech Republic, Slovakia due Workers Council agreements or country laws. The policy change provides that if transfer offer includes a change in compensation, such change will be effective as of January 1, 2023 without retroactive application, regardless of the transfer start date.
