Responsibilities: This Senior Project Manager will support a Business Focused and Compliance Portfolio and will be responsible for delivering projects for C-Suite Leadership and Compliance/CMS.
Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to complex business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert.
Frequently contributes to the development of new ideas and methods.
Works on complex problems/projects where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors.
Exercises significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives.
Leads and provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives.
May provide mentoring and guidance to lower-level associates.
Acts as expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies.
Contributions have significant impact on business cost, efficiency, productivity on project budget from $1M+.
Typically involves medium to high degree of change. Works on complex projects where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. Manages projects affecting three or more functional areas. Coordinates and integrates the work efforts and deliverables of a large multi-function project team. Project spans one or more regions. Qualifications / Education:
At least seven (7) + years of experience in a Project Management role or in a similar role/business.
Demonstrates an in-depth understanding of key services, operational policies, processes and methodologies applicable to project management.
Speaks with authority to most layers of depth related to project management methods.
Makes use of training and mentoring opportunities.
Previous experience in managed care or working for an MCO is preferred.
Must have excellent communication skills to lead conversation with Executives, as well as be flexible and adaptable to change.
MUST be PMP Certified (PMI).
Bachelor’s Degree required.
Additional Notes:
We have a fairly mature Enterprise Project Management Office (ePMO). Previous experience working in a formal PMO required.
This PM Senior will support a “business focus” and Compliance portfolio.
Projects may be short, “quick delivery” projects (3 -4 months) for the company President and/or C-Suite leaders that are highly sensitive in nature.
Previous experience working for an MCO (Managed Care Organization) is needed for this role; other experience in the healthcare domain may be considered.
Must be IT and business savvy with the ability to lead conversations at Executive levels.
Must have the ability to be flexible and adaptable to change.
Must have solid experience with budgets and forecasting (at least $1 million +) and the ability to manage scope, time, and quality.
We will not consider a Teleworker for this position and they will work at the Newtown Square office on a hybrid work schedule.
Degree is required and MUST be PMP Certified. Lean Sigma preferred as well.
