Type: Contract Our client is looking for a Business Systems Analyst with advanced analytical and problem-solving skills. As well as experience in system life cycle tasks, System and Acceptance testing and the creation of system documentation

Description
Project leadership and support for all system development related projects and activities for Product Services. This will include new system analysis, as well as the development of system specifications, creating test scripts and test cases, software testing, drafting system documentation and researching, reporting, and resolving systems issues with the production area. Also includes training the department trainers in regard to system changes and enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining business rules and/or model documents that are the basis for producing fulfillment materials Benefit Highlights, Clients, Benefit Booklets and Employer Group Contracts for PA and AHNJ commercial business.
  • As a Product Engineer and/or Author this role will design and develop business rules, test and move to production requested changes to benefits, cost shares, content, etc.
  • Perform Analysis problem identification, research and solution implementation related to group / plan benefit data.
  • Author new as well as modify existing documentation to reflect the project changes, revised business practices, benefit design, corporate initiatives, mandates, regulatory findings, health care reform, etc.
  • Design a testing plan and perform extensive testing to ensure accurate implementation.
  • Perform language content review and design, formatting and brand compliance for the numerous model documents maintained in the document management system.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree (A major in Computer Science, Business, or a Healthcare related field and an advance degree is highly preferred) is required, along with a minimum of three years applicable experience in project management. In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 8 years of applicable work experience is required.
  • Experience in cross functional development projects and leading a diverse team to achieve results is required.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills required.
  • Experience in system life cycle tasks, System and Acceptance testing and the creation of system documentation.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management or document production environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Demonstrated experience working directly or indirectly with internal operations, benefits and products.
  • Demonstrated experience with sales, marketing, product development, actuarial, financial and information systems business.
  • Demonstrated experience in utilizing skills in planning, organizing, leading and coordinating multiple projects with little or no direction.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft Office products (including Word, Excel, and Project). Advanced Access and data mining experience is desired.
