For over 50 years D & K Appliances, a family owned and operated Appliance Company, has been providing customers with quality products, superior delivering and appliance service. Today, we are looking to expand our operations team with a Delivery Technician.
Summary:
Delivery technicians at D & K Appliances deliver and install major home appliances while also supporting products that are sold at our store front location. The technicians set themselves apart with their technical abilities and quality service. We are currently seeking an appliance delivery technician in the Delaware Valley area.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Deliver and install kitchen and laundry appliances
Leveling and testing of appliances
Off / on load stock inventory
Manage assigned truck stock inventory and the maintenance of an assigned company delivery truck
Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction thru the deliverance of outstanding quality service
Prompt and regular attendance
Other duties as deemed necessary
Qualifications & Requirements:
Minimum of High school diploma or Equivalent
Valid drivers license in good standing
Excellent communication skills
Able to work overtime during heightened delivery periods
Successful completion of a background investigation, physical and drug screen
Knowledge of, and adherence to, D & Ks core principals and mission statement
Ability to lift and carry over 50 lbs.
Frequently bending, twisting, kneeling, crawling, sitting, standing, flexing/extending neck, grasping, squeezing
and fine motor/manipulation skills
Occasionally crouching, squatting, climbing/balancing, walking and reaching above should level
Ability to work professionally with peers and be a team player
Local daily travel required
Preferred Medical Examiners Certificate
