Our client, a privately held growing engineering company located in Center City Philadelphia is adding a Senior Network Engineer to their IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for the planning and engineering of their networking and communications infrastructure. You will also be an individual contributor to the overall performance of wide-area and local-area networks. Focus will be supporting project activities and improve the security, performance, and availability of the networking and communications infrastructure. Concerning network devices, network software, communications provider services and all data connectivity. Daily activities will be troubleshooting and resolving technical problems concerning remote access. This includes Cisco ASA Firewalls, F5 load-balancers, VPN server and wireless networks. You will also assist in the design and implementation of systems, infrastructure and similar networking hardware for the enterprise. In this role, you will analyze network, server and storage systems and recommend upgrades or changes and assist with testing and performance analysis of network systems.
Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree is preferred
  • Cisco, ShoreTel, F5 and other security, networking certifications is preferred
  • 6+ years of industry experience in either installation, configuration and support of networking hardware and software
  • Experience with Cisco firewalls, routers, and switches is required
  • Strong experience in installation, configuration, and troubleshooting LAN/WAN devices
