A well-known Fintech company located in Conshehocken is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join their growing team. This Senior Data Engineer will be working on a POC data solutions for real-time big data ingestion. You will also be responsible for designing, building and maintaining ETL data pipelines in an AWS environment in conjunction with Java and SQL. The ideal candidate will also have big data processing technologies such as Spark, Kafka, Pig, Hadoop and Flume.
Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years total Engineering experience
• Experience working with an AWS environment (EC2, EMR, EKS, ECS, Redshift)
• Strong programming experience with Java or Python and data modeling with SQL and ETL
• Experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes

Desired Skills & Experience

• Understanding of NoSQL Databases (HBase, Mongo, Cassandra)
• Snowflake experience
• Data processing with Spark, Kafka, Pig, Hadoop, Flume

• Competitive Pay: Up to $75/hour, DOE
• Contract Duration: 6-12 months' contract to hire
