A/P Vendor Specialist (Hybrid)

Position Title: A/P Vendor Specialist (Hybrid) Job Type: Full – TimeLocation: Philadelphia, PA Job Summary & Responsibilities:The A/P Vendor Specialist role reports to the Accounts Payable Manager and will be responsible for the onboarding and maintenance of supplier records within the supplier database. With the broader AP and Procurement teams, the Specialist will focus on working with requesters and suppliers to navigate the onboarding process, and maintain information including supplier name, addresses, banking information, classification etc. The Specialist will review and audit requests for accuracy and resolve any data issues. The Specialist should be comfortable communicating to various stakeholders, including End Users, Sourcing, Procurement, Audit teams, and management to ensure items are actioned properly and timely.

Auditing and processing purchase orders, providing basic accounting/AP support and with miscellaneous tasks within the Controller's group.

Ensure purchasing policy and procedure is properly followed for all purchases made by all staff by auditing requisitions and Purchase Orders

Track down and follow up with company's program vendors for maintenance

Review contracts/billing to validate accuracy and validity of contract

Track, maintain and update various accounting, purchase order and vendor maintenance data within Microsoft Excel and Oracle ERP

Job Requirements & Benefits:

Associates degree preferred

2+ years of experience within an accounting or business setting processing purchase orders

1+ years of experience with working with vendors in an accounting, AP, or procurement setting

2+ years of experience working within basic pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and advanced formulas within Microsoft Excel

1+ years of experience within an ERP such as Oracle, SAP, JDE, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, Peoplesoft, Workday or similar
