Pall Corporation is seeking an Applications Specialist, Single-Use Technologies located in the US East Coast/Mid-Atlantic region. The Applications Specialist will provide technical support for Pall single-use technologies to external stakeholders (customers, partners) as well as internal stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, Quality, Engineering, R&D)Our Applications Specialists

Travel 50% of the time,

Provide best in class scientific support to our customers

Thrive in a fast-paced environment, never having the same day twice.The scope of work will include providing technical guidance and conducting training, site investigations and product trials. Internally, the Applications Specialist will also provide market intelligence (voice of the customer). Work will be performed remotely at customer sites throughout North America, and at Pall sites. This role will also be a key contributor to Pall Scientific Laboratory Services (SLS) and Single-Use Technologies (SUT) team development.Qualification Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor of Science Degree in a Life Science, Physical Science, or Engineering field

Relevant experience required: a minimum of 5 years’ experience working in the biotechnology or biopharmaceutical industry is most desirable; experience in a related field (e.g., small molecule pharma, pharma process engineering), would be considered

A relevant Master’s degree would also be considered in lieu of 2 years’ experience

Competence with common software tools (Microsoft Office)

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with the use of single-use technologies and/or filtration/separation technologies in a biotechnology manufacturing context

Knowledge of biotechnology manufacturing processes and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)

While English will be the primary language for most communications, proficiency in another language (e.g., Spanish) is beneficial

  • Summary Serves as a Traffic Management Coordinator in an ATC level 11 Terminal facility and is responsible for ensuring that efficient and effective traffic management is maintained. Responsibilities Ensures that traffic management instructions/restrictions are initiated in accordance with established procedures to maintain a safe and expeditious flow of traffic and minimize the impact of heavy flight demands. Assesses the facility\'s capacity and projects an acceptable level of traffic. Issues appropriate traffic flow restrictions to adjacent facilities, to space, hold, and reroute aircraft to distribute the flow of traffic and equalize workload among positions. Follows agency policy when implementing traffic management initiatives. Maintains awareness of the traffic flow, equipment status, airport/weather conditions, and traffic forecasts to ensure acceptable levels of traffic, mitigate delays, and avoid flights into undesirable atmospheric conditions. Maintains familiarization of all phases of facility operations and aeronautical/meteorological conditions. Maintains currency on required positions of operation.
