RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a C#/.NET Developer. This role is remote, but the candidate must be in either the Eastern or Central time zone.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with team members to ideate, estimate and implement solutions
Actively participate in the Agile process, following Scrum Methodology working in sprints on stories defined and prioritized by the product owners
Challenge the status quo and ask why before executing
Effectively interact with business units to understand requirements and contexts
Look for better ways of doing things, but be economically minded and opportunistic
Be involved and responsible with architectural and design decisions
Be fully hands on and actively code in the current technology stack
Code review other team member's code and be able to receive reviews on own code
Document and share information that aids in future development and support
Voice opinions, seeking ways of improving the process and outcomes
Solve for Production Issues of systems that are implemented in production
Contributes to the team, coaches the team, listens to the team, wins and loses with the team
REQUIREMENTS:
4-10+ years in a full stack developer role
Proficient in .NET Framework and C#
Familiar with distributed architecture and relational databases
Experience developing custom software
Experience in front-end web technologies
Experience with Microsoft Azure or other cloud service platform a plus
Demonstrated experience in IT concepts and practices
Understands the software development lifecycle and is familiar with more than one approach to software development
Demonstrate a sense of personal & team accountability
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Good communication skills with a customer support orientation
Excellent problem solving skills
Desire to develop in an Agile environment
Experience with Agile methodologies a plus
Experience creating wireframes and visual design components a plus
Strong knowledge of Excel, SQL database, SQL scripts and queries
Strong attention to detail and ability to exercise good judgment especially where borrower or client data is affected
Adept at applying troubleshooting techniques in a high pressure environment
Ability to provide service to other departments while managing internal project loads
Familiar with working in a data warehouse environment
Ability to prioritize and remain focused in a dynamic, fast paced environment
