Purolite, an Ecolab Company is seeking a First Chemical Operator-Regen who coordinates activities in the regeneration area relating to operations which include Regeneration, Microlite, Waste Tanks, Polishers, Grinding, TOC Systems and Processes including Screening and Drying.

The First Equipment Operator-Regen will always be safety conscious for self and others with ability to initiate tasks and work in an independent manner.

The support of an organization that believes it is vital to include and engage diverse people, perspectives and ideas to achieve our best.What You Will Do:Effectively operates polishers.Maintains effective operation of the Low TOC area.Operates three units (LC, M-Regen and CY-4) in series and separately, as well as the extraction unitand scavenger.Operates the Separator, Separation of Mixbed Resins.Performs small unit (Cation and Anion) and V-Mixer operations.Charges all units.Neutralizes waste tanks in Regen.Performs effective operation of Grinder, Microlite tanks and centrifuge.Instructs Second Equipment Operator of his duties and ensures they are completed.Writes paperwork as necessary and ensures the accuracy of paperwork before submission to supervisor.Operates a sewing machine and heat sealer.Operates the ferrix system, keks and drying.Reports unusual occurrences relating to processes and equipment to Regen supervisor.Position Details:

Philadelphia Plant location:3620 G Street, Philadelphia, PA 19134.

Work week and shift: Rotating twelve-hour shifts days, nights, and weekends.

Provides focused leadership/technical direction and resource allocation for plant operations to ensure regulatory compliance and deliver system reliability (performance, disaster readiness and contingency planning) within a pre-established budget. Manages the development and execution of assigned projects. Leads real time data collection and analysis to provide direction to plant operations staff for activities associated with system testing, trouble shooting, discovery, maintenance/repairs, restoration, record keeping, plant reconfiguration and hazardous energy control. Responsible to execute disaster recovery and contingency plans during planned and unplanned work. Develops, engages and supervises staff by using continuous improvement technics to promote the well-being of employees with performance evaluations, technical/compliance training and coaching.
