By providing innovation, technical excellence, and on-time performance, we create value for a proud Urban family.Job Summary:Urban Engineers Inc. is seeking a Graduate Engineer to assist in managing the inspection activities on local highway reconstruction projects in Philadelphia.Graduate Engineer Responsibilities: Perform inspection of contract items for conformance with plans and specifications, and field measure pay quantities Prepare pay estimates and work orders Generate and maintain over/under cost spreadsheet Generate and maintain submittal and RFI logs Coordinate and meet with utility and agency representatives for action items Perform constructability reviews and recommend approval of appropriate shop drawings and catalog cut sheets Analyze and recommend any design-related changes Prepare bi-weekly progress meeting minutesJob Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Construction Management is required Prior internships in construction management or inspection, preferably with PennDOT, is a plus ACI Certification preferred Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills Must have a valid driver’s licenseReq: 547 Please include a PDF or Word Document Version of your resume.
