• 5 to 10 Experience in hands on development.
• Project experience building applications with Java 8+ in Spring Boot
• Good understanding of web services technologies (REST, SOAP, XML, JSON)
• Experience with front end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular)
• Oracle, MySQL databases, SQL, and stored procedures
• Experience with microservices, Kubernetes and Docker
• Experience with Kafka, Docker, Redis, MongoDB.
• Familiarity with continuous integration/deployment processes and tools, such as, Jenkins, Concourse etc.

  • Design and develop new software and web applications using REST API, React Web App, Python, SQLAlchemy, and Flask framework; work with Postgres RDS and Aurora Postgres databases; support Cloud infrastructure using AWS services, including Lambda functions, Lambda layers, SQS, SNS, RDS, CloudWatch, S3, SSM, and IAM; use Smart Deployer and Concourse for automation and deployment; develop infrastructure as code using Terraform and Serverless; support applications under development and customize current applications; assist with the software update process for existing applications, and roll-outs of software releases; analyze, test, and assist with the integration of new applications; document all development activity; research, write, and edit documentation and technical requirements, including software designs, evaluation plans, test results, technical manuals, and formal recommendations and reports; monitor and evaluate competitive applications and products; review literature, patents, and current practices relevant to the solution of assigned projects; collaborate with project stakeholders to identify product and technical requirements; conduct analysis to determine integration needs; and work with the Quality Assurance team to determine if applications fit specification and technical requirements.
