The Lead Application Coordinator is responsible for overseeing team work efforts in the design, build, testing, validation, and ongoing support of clinical applications. This position is responsible for maintaining an in-depth knowledge of the software functionality as well as coordinating and leading team members in the planning, implementation, and monitoring of projects and work assignments. Defines and documents system scope and objectives based on knowledge of the clinical systems and user needs. Provides subject matter expertise in application area and operates as a cross-functional application domain leader in integrated project work. Anticipates problems, provides solutions to complex problems with the necessary priorities, and presents the solution to clinical partners. Manages components of medium to large-size, complex clinical system projects, provides mentoring of system analysts, and provides support of others on the clinical system projects. Works across interdisciplinary project teams and operational staff, building and fostering effective business relationships with clinical partners (physicians, nurses, technologists, and other caregivers) in the specification and design of clinical system projects. The position oversees the EPIC Optime/Anesthesia team in the posting and must be Optime/Anesthesia certified.

Education
Bachelors Degree in Healthcare, IT, Computer Science, Business, or a related field (Required)
Masters Degree in Healthcare, IT, Computer Science, Business, or a related field (Preferred)
Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Experience
4 Years experience Total Healthcare Information Systems analyst experience (Required)
6 Years experience Associates Degree + Total Healthcare Information Systems analyst experience in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree (Required)
8 Years experience in Total Healthcare Information Systems analyst experience in lieu of education (Required)

License/Certifications
EC - Epic Certification (Required)
