Integrates knowledge of business and functionalpriorities. Acts as a key contributor in a complex and crucialenvironment. May lead teams or projects and shares expertise.Employees at all levels are expect to:- Understand our Operating Principles; make them the guidelines for howyou do your job- Own the customer experience-think and act in ways that put ourcustomers first, give them seamless digital options at every touchpoint,and make them promoters of our products and services- Know your stuff-be enthusiastic learners, users and advocates of ourgame-changing technology, products and services, especially our digitaltools and experiences- Win as a team-make big things happen by working together and beingopen to new ideas- Be an active part of the Net Promoter System-a way of working thatbrings more employee and customer feedback into the company-by joininghuddles, making call backs and helping us elevate opportunities to dobetter for our customers- Drive results and growth- Respect and promote inclusion and diversity- Do what's right for each other, our customers, investors and ourcommunitiesCore Responsibilities:- Coordinates design activities with other Developers to ensure projectadheres to project specifications, and provides Supervisor and/orProject Manager with level of effort estimations, milestone timelines,and periodic status updates.- Provides expertise in more than one functional area of technology andprovides architecture and design solutions for new applications orapplication enhancements.- Manages entire life cycle of most assigned projects.- Writes application code, develops user interfaces, develops unit testcases and harnesses; creates design, interface, system, and userdocumentation; tests software and interfaces, supports end-to-end andperformance testing, and performs other tasks needed to completeprojects.- Assists in testing and troubleshooting hardware and applications toensure integration with product deployments.- Works with Business Partners when developing technical requirements,design, and status regarding production issues.- Provides guidance and mentoring to junior level Developers andperforms regular code reviews to enforce coding standards and quality.- Develops deployment software and application administration softwareas well as creates deployment and application support documentation.- Works within project specifications to meet goals and objectives in atimely and accurate manner; raises issues expediently that could impedethe project specifications or timelines.- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in mattersof significance.- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to worknights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.Job Specification:- Bachelors Degree or Equivalent- Information Sciences, Technology, Computer Science-Generally requires 7-11 years related experience- 5 years of software development experience (including relevant experience with C#/.NET)- Experience with HTML, CSS, XML, JSON, JQuery, Ajax, JavaScript- Experience with dependency injection and unit testing (NUnit, MS Test)- Bootstrap and other UI skills- ASP.NET MVC framework fundamentals- .NET Framework (.NET Core is a plus)- ASP.NET Web API 2 (.NET Core Web API 2 is a plus)- T-SQL and experience working with databases (Microsoft SQL Server 2012-2016)- Extensive web development experience using CSS, HTML, and JavaScript.- Understanding of enterprise scale development technologies and best practices- Prior experience in an Agile/DevOps working environment- Knowledgeable of software design patterns- Containerization technologies are a plus (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)- Experience with Web Services (SOAP, REST)- Experience with Source Code Control (GitHub, Subversion, TFS)- Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services and Reporting ServicesComcast is an EOE/Veterans/Disabled/LGBT employer
