Job Description
A fulltime opportunity with a growing medical device startup. While based in Nashville, this role will be fully remote and can work anywhere throughout the country. The opportunity itself is a Lead Engineer that will work closely with the Head of Engineering, Product teams, and DevOps teams to build out a greenfield application that will track patient data for predictive analysis. The backend of this platform is developed in Java, Spring Boot, and hosted in Amazon Web Services (AWS). You will be deploying your own code using Docker and Kubernetes, as well as developing Microservices.
While this is a startup, they are almost profitable just within a few years. They are also mission-based and specifically look to help patients on Medicare so they can better diagnose and treat medical conditions so if you are motivated by technology helping people, this is a great environment for you. As the company inevitably grows, this role will grow into leading people.
