WORKNET is looking to hire a Full Time, Certified Medical Assistant in Philadelphia, PA. Fifty percent of our practice is physicals for post offer, return to work, or surveillance. We have excellent client relationships because of our emphasis on customer service. We need a medical assistant who is detail oriented, has excellent customer service and communication skills, and works well on a team to assist us in maintaining and growing the medical assistant function in our office. This position must be willing to help drive the company van to trasnport patients to and from appointments. Ideal candidate has a minimum of 1 year experience. We accomplish this by providing superior work-related injury treatment, drug & alcohol testing, physical exams, vaccinations, and injury-prevention training programs.The position requires a friendly, fast-paced, multi-tasking individual, as this particular facility is an extraordinarily busy practice. The applicant should have good clinical skill specific to taking vitals, medical triage, phlebotomy, administering vaccinations, and general clinical knowledge.The ideal candidate must be a Certified Medical Assistant and some Occupational Medicine experience is preferred (Drug testing, Alcohol testing, Spirometry, Audiograms, Fit Testing). Candidates need to have an extraordinary sense of detail and ability to work through unexpected situations.
