If you share in our passion for teamwork, our vision to revolutionize industries and our goal to lead the future in media and technology, we want you to fast-forward your career at Comcast.DUTIES:Contribute to the X1 Engineering Group, a team responsible for supporting the X1 Platform by developing cable TV applications like TvGo and features such as the Talking Guide, and delivering video for linear, video-on-demand, and cloud DVR services used by millions of Comcast’s customers across all Xfinity platforms; utilize automation tools and processes to ensure that the cloud-based controls that manage customizations for the Xfinity platform are configured appropriately; develop, integrate, test, and support code and automation scripts for software applications by using the Selenium IDE framework; test client-server web applications and distributed environments using software quality engineering (SQE) methodologies such as black-box, white-box, and automation testing; debug and analyze test cases by utilizing SQL database scripts; implement the Scrum methodology when gathering business requirements from clients; gather acceptance criteria for user stories, and write automated tests for them; update database scripts based on client needs; create tickets for issues, coordinate triage functions and defect management, and track issues to closure; execute integration tests; perform code review of automation code developed by other team members; document the automation development process; provide regular communication of project statuses and issues requiring escalation; utilize databases including Oracle, Casandra, SQL Server, and MySQL; and drive the software development process toward quality-centric methodologies.REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field; and two (2) years of experience utilizing automation tools; developing automation scripts by using the Selenium IDE framework; using software quality engineering (SQE) methodologies, including black-box, white-box, and automation testing; implementing the Scrum methodology; and utilizing SQL database scripts.Comcast is an EOE/Veterans/Disabled/LGBT employer
