Support clients in maintaining overall compliance with CBP duty drawback regulations

Support the national practice with data and analytics capabilities to identify duty drawback opportunities

Coordinate with Global Trade Management (GTM) system implementation teams on data reporting to facilitate duty drawback filings

Research, write, and review duty drawback advice, formulate ideas and deliver possible future duty drawback services

Communicate with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) on technical duty drawback matters and prepare duty drawback entries for electronic submission to CBP

Undertake activities to proactively enhance savings through expansion of clients' duty drawback programs

Qualifications:

A minimum of five years of duty drawback experience as a customs attorney, customs broker, industry trade specialist, US Customs drawback auditor, or import specialist, which includes duty drawback experience and may include experience in The Harmonized Tariff Schedule, customs federal regulations, NAFTA, entry processes, valuation, and informed compliance methods

Bachelor's degree in international trade from an accredited college/university and/or a Certified Public Accountant, Juris Doctor or person with a Master's degree in international trade

Previous experience in a tax or advisory services firm, corporation, customs broker, government, or trade law firm

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (including Access) and top duty drawback preparation software

Strong interpersonal skills, good written and verbal communication/presentation skills

Ability to travel both domestically and internationally
