The team also develops and supports our evolving network architecture, including next-generation consumer systems and technologies, infrastructure and engineering, network integration and management tools, and technical standards.SUMMARY:The ERP Integration Architect will be responsible for the overall performance, standards definition, and guiding the future state direction of the ERP systems architecture that supports our supply chain business and IT strategies. This position will also manage the creation and update of key systems assets, support solution development efforts, and champion IT governance processes.CORE RESPONSIBILITITES:-Analyze the current integration environment and provide recommended solutions for improvement.-Analyze technology industry and market trends, and determine their potential impact on other systems architectures.-Lead efforts to establish, define, maintain and communicate integration architecture guidelines, principles, standards and best practices across the ERP systems architecture in support of supply chain capabilities.-Provide technical leadership for solution architecture management, especially in the area of impact to the overall systems design, and application utilization and management including functional flows, data and information management, applications integration, and operations management.-Collaborate with IT data stewards, information architect(s), database administrators and data warehouse owners to establish and maintain highly resilient, reusable, scalable, and standardized data integration patterns.-Collaborate with information architect(s) and security architect(s) to ensure data integration definitions are secure.-Guide and mentor IT Service Delivery teams in all aspects of integration architecture, including design best practice for transaction, transformation, orchestration, movement and replication of transactional data.-Serves as the subject matter expert in Java, SOA, and open source development concepts and strategies, and lead the ongoing efforts to mature the integration solution portfolio.-Serves as the subject matter expert in approaches and best practices that enables the development or transformation of internal solutions to externally managed, cloud-based technologies.-Understand, advocate and augment the architecture principles within the software suite leveraged by ERP, while ensuring alignment to support forward looking business and technology strategies.-Analyze enterprise business context (trends and business strategy) to derive future state integration architecture.-Drive and influence the implementation strategic architecture that support supply chain technologies; and educate and communicate internal teams and business users on the benefits and ongoing results.-Develop trusted relationships with technology teams and business leadership through regular interactions and thought leadership.-Identify the organizational and financial impact of changes to targeted integration architecture. (For example, on skills, processes, structures and culture).-Document necessary architecture design and analysis work, possibly including project postmortem documentation and metric collection.-Review and integrate application requirements, including functional, security, integration, performance, and quality requirements.-Develop integration architecture roadmaps to future state.-Provide architectural support to operations and project delivery teams.-Establish, maintain and report key performance metrics and ensure alignment to established development, operations, and business metrics.-Prepare and deliver persuasive presentation materials to senior level IT and business leadership.-This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.EMPLOYMENT QUALIFICATIONS:-BA/BS/MS degree in computer science or related field. Combinations of relevant education, certifications, and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Continuous learning, as defined by Comcast’s learning philosophy, is required. Certification or progress toward certification is highly preferred and encouraged.-Minimum ten years of progressive responsibility in an IT environment with demonstrated technical knowledge which provides the necessary skills, knowledge and abilities.-Minimum five years relevant experience with enterprise-wide integration architecture required. Additionally, this position requires demonstrated knowledge and expertise in a broad range of information technology applications and infrastructures, as well as knowledge of how these technologies can be leveraged to solve business needs.-Extensive knowledge of the broadband / cable industry preferred.-Knowledge of supply chain systems integrations and capabilities (such as planning, inventory lifecycle management, and inventory tracking) a plus.-Clear understanding of commonly used development, operations, and architecture guiding principles and best practices.-Strong verbal and written communication skills with presentation experience.-Ability to work as a collaborative member of a team while also being comfortable in leading a work initiative when directed to do so.-Ability to set strategic architectural direction in integration technologies.-Deep knowledge in service oriented architecture frameworks, standards and tools.-Recent working knowledge for design, configuration and management of one or more application development platforms and frameworks including Weblogic, JBOSS, .NET, AJAX, .NET, JSON, REST, Perl, GitHub, Angular, HTML5, and Pivotal Cloud Foundry, and Kafka.-Recent knowledge of business and systems flows within ERP environments, a plus.-A clear understanding of the architecture standards and best practices surrounding integration technologies-A clear understanding of the security considerations and implications surrounding the application architecture and security frameworks used to mobile-enable business functions within the organization.-Ability to determine the architectural implications from requirements that might impact other application ecosystems.-Ability to breakdown requirements into project estimates and determine timelines and dependencies with the other domains/ projects.-Ability to manage small work teams with experience in one or more project management tools.-Clear understanding of ongoing and planned projects and their interdependencies/timelines.Comcast is an EOE/Veterans/Disabled/LGBT employer
