Will work closely with US CSMD D&A team on day to day basis to support the Quality Assurance activities related to critical EIS applications.Responsibilities:
Proactively work with Development and Business partners in impact assessments
Analyze business requirements, identify and communicate requirement gaps
Review requirement gaps raised by the team
Define and develop Test Plans and Test strategies for different testing projects
Review and sign-off the Test Coverage and Requirements Traceability Matrix
Execute test cases and report test results
Raise defects in defect tracking tool
Solid experience in reviewing and preparing Sizing & Estimation using industry estimation practices
Should be able to provide innovative solutions to the problem areas of application/process
Should be able to collect and track Metrics as defined and directed
Should be able to manage and implement Effort Tracking in an Enterprise Project Management tool
Highlight delivery issues to the manager for resolution
Should have good knowledge on VB Scripting and Web Services Testing
Provide solutions for resolutions of delivery issues
Assess risks and help the manger in mitigating and in contingency planning
Understand and adhere to the process and guide the team and be responsible for the process adherence of the team. Make recommendations for process improvement or process tailoring
Define common templates and suggest better ways of implementing QA processes
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of information technology quality assurance and systems/application testing experience
3+ years of experience using HP ALM or other testing tools
3+ years of implementing test automation using Selenium, web services or SQL
Desired Qualifications:
Knowledge and understanding of creating test plans, test cases, test procedures, test scripts, and expected results
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Test planning and executing experience in systems such as: Test Tool, Quality Center, or ClearQuest
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Information security experience
Process definition and documentation experience
Knowledge and understanding of process flow or procedure writing
Ability to negotiate and facilitate issue resolution
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
Ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate to build successful relationships
Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
Ability to develop reports and metrics
Ability to identify and present processes/operational enhancements
Knowledge and understanding of information security principles, policies, and procedures
