Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sell.As a Senior Sales Consultant you will be responsible for providing presales technical / functional support to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction with minimal supervision. Acts as a technical resource for less experienced Sales Consultants. Develop and deliver high quality standard Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Present and articulate advanced product features and benefits, product future direction and overall Oracle solutions. Design, validate, and present Oracle software solutions to include advanced product concepts, future direction, and 3rd party complimentary products. Develop and manage reference sites through high quality technical, professional client relationships.Job duties are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. May have project lead role. 5 years vendor (sales and marketing) experience. 5 years relevant computer applications or database/tools. Demonstrated proficiency in one multi-user operating system. Through knowledge of system and application design. Strong verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques. Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems with accounts in complex technical environments. Ability to travel as needed. You will uncover and understand customer goals and challenges and determine which Oracle Cloud Application or Technology product will solve their business needs. Location for position is negotiable to multiple cities within the Western US.

Actively maintain in-depth technical Oracle product knowledge and Industry trends & technologies:

o Oracle SaaS ERP, SCM, EPM, and HCM Clouds architecture, operations, security, configuration, extensibility, integration, analyticso Oracle PaaS Cloud database, development tools, integration tools, analytic tools, digital assistant, identity management, CASB, etco Advance technologies like AI, IoT, ML, Blockchain, etc.

Maintain awareness of relevant competitive Enterprise Applications products and technologies

Understand the needs and pains of the customer and then to link them to a set of products/solutions provided by Oracle

Demonstrate leadership abilities and superior presentation and demonstration skills

Responds to tenders, RFI s, RFP s, proposals with respect to product/solution information

Create and maintain relationships with key stakeholders at our prospects

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

Prefer 3-10 years experience in related field

Technical experience selling, implementing, and/or using enterprise software, ideally in Cloud.

Technical knowledge a plus, including but not limited to:Enterprise Applications(ERP, EPM, HCM, SCM) Technologies, HTML, JavaScript, SQL, REST, SOAP, WAF, SIEM, networking, Relational Database Technology, Object Oriented (OO) programming skills/understanding, Middleware Technologies, etc.

Prefer background in ERP, SCM, EPM, or HCM applications

Skilled in presenting and demonstrating

Self-motivated and able to work under pressure

Enthusiastic and confident

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to discuss key industry issues at multiple levels (C-Level to IT Managers)

Ability and willingness to travel Western US region up to 50%
