Greenstreet Coffee Co. is an established coffee roastery in Philadelphia, with a roasting facility and grab and go coffee bar in South Philadelphia. In May, 2021 a stand alone café was opened in West Philadelphia (fondly referred to as Greenstreet Coffee West), which is continuing to grow. With a commitment to sustainable roasting practices, and providing quality products and customer service to customers, Greenstreet Coffee West is becoming a staple for residents of Cedar Park.
Greenstreet Coffee West is currently seeking an enthusiastic, organized and flexible team member to serve as both a barista and food handler. With homemade breakfast sandwiches, smoothies and various other light bites offered, team members are responsible for a wide array of service tasks including but not limited to:
Making coffee and espresso beverages to customer specifications
Making food items to customer specifications while adhering to the city of Philadelphia’s health code
Working with other team members to complete orders and provide satisfactory product to customers
Ensuring the café and kitchen areas are clean and maintained
Collaborating with management to continue growing the café and providing items, service and promotions to excite our customers
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
6+ months of barista experience
Food service/customer service experience
Current ServSafe certification
Flexible schedule, with a minimum of 20hrs/week available including at least 1 weekend day
Ability to stand for 5+ hours
Ability to lift 20+ pounds
West Philadelphia resident
