We are currently seeking receptionists to work the 9 am to 5 pm shift on Saturdays, and the 7 am to 3 pm shifts on Sundays and Mondays. Two more shifts can be added during the week for a full time position if desired. Wages start at $12.50 per hour, increasing to $13.50 after 4 weeks and to $15.00 at your 9th week.
As the main point-of-contact for our customers, you will be responsible for welcoming and checking in guests, orienting them in the hostel and the city, fulfilling their requests during their stay, answering the telephones, making reservations and other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements: The most important qualities you must possess are a friendly attitude and knowledge of Philadelphia. Successful candidates will have an almost encyclopedic knowledge of the city and its amenities and attractions, and be comfortable with a largely international clientele. Fluency in a second language is a plus, and excellent communication skills coupled with heroic patience is a must. Proof of vaccination (at least first shot) is required.
