The Melting Pot King of Prussia is currently hiring servers and hosts! Come join our team We are offering FULL and PART TIME availability for both hosts and servers. PLEASE ATTACH RESUME IN EMAIL RESPONSE!
QUALIFICATIONS FOR ALL POSITIONS:
Server applicants must have prior serving experience
No restaurant experience required for hosts
Must be comfortable walking and standing for extended periods of time
Excellent listening and speaking skills coupled with a professional demeanor
Cleanliness and organizational skills
Multi-tasking capabilities
Must be an active, enthusiastic member of a team
Ability to exhibit an upbeat and positive personality at all times
Weekend availability required
Must be at least 18 years of age or older
SERVER RESPONSIBILITIES:
Taking orders, delivering food, preparing courses table-side
Learning and maintaining knowledge of recipes, menu items, and drinks. Being able to deliver a consistent
and correctly made product to every table, every time
Participating in continual education to speak knowledgeably on menu changes or special events
Making a genuine connection with guests and delivering a custom dining experience to each and every table.
Must be comfortable speaking to guests for extended periods of time; must be proficient in reading guests
and anticipating guest needs
HOST RESPONSIBILITIES:
Taking and confirming reservations (must speak clearly and be comfortable on the phone)
Warmly greeting guests as they arrive and thanking them for dining as they depart
Checking in reservations and escorting guests to tables
Selling and arranging retail packages such as making chocolate covered strawberries, flowers or balloons for
celebrations
