V Street is now interviewing for open Dishwasher positions. Must be organized, energetic, experience preferred but not required. Serious applicants ONLY.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to properly use and maintain the dishwashing machine
- Ability to clean in hard to reach places (including but not limited to sweeping and mopping, entire bathrooms, air vents, light fixtures, basement storage, under and behind equipment, vestibules and sidewalks, trash areas)
- Ability to assist with light prep jobs when needed
- Works well independently with minimal instruction and supervision
- Good communication skills with co-workers
- Eye for detail and a can-do attitude
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Applies consistent effort over time with repetitious tasks
- Eagerness to maintain daily, weekly, and seasonal cleaning projects
- Proven reliability and excellent attendance
- Scheduling availability that meets the needs of the restaurant
- Ability to be active inside and just outside the restaurant for extended periods of time including early in the morning, weekends and holidays
- Familiarity and comfort with basic plumbing and handy work tools (plungers, wrenches, drill guns, ladders, power sprayers, shop vac, etc.)
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
