Full Time Medical Assistant to work from our Philadelphia fast paced Physical Medicine & Pain Management office. Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant. Ability to work harmoniously with other personnel. CPR and MA certification required. Electronic Medical Records experience preferred. Foreign language is not a requirement but Spanish speaking is a plus.
Specific Responsibilities and duties include:
Prepare patients for visits
Assist in scheduling external referrals (when needed)
Perform specific procedures ordered by providers
Processes all medical forms as necessary
The Medical Assistant also answers phone calls; greets, gives direction/assist information to patient, visitors, guest, sales representatives with a professional and cordial manner. Attend all mandatory staff meetings/development training sessions; and perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
