What You'll Do:Perform quality control and safety checks of new properties.Own punchlist monitoring: conduct thorough unit walkthroughs and maintenance checks, and assess the readiness of new constructions properties for turnover to Sonder. Support the development of a new preventative maintenance program for our properties and carry out quarterly preventative maintenance across our portfolio of units.Complete daily maintenance requests as they arise: appliance troubleshooting, repairing furniture, unclogging drains, replacing broken fixtures, patch & paint walls, etcCoordinate and meet with our third-party specialist vendors at our buildings: electricians, plumbers, locksmiths, exterminators, HVAC technicians, etcMaintain inventory of supplies, including tools, HVAC filters, lightbulbs, extra furniture/fixtures, etc.
What We Look For:3+ years of maintenance experienceHigh school diploma or equivalentCertification in a skilled trade a plus, such as HVAC, electrical or carpentry examples may include NFPA 70E, EPA, OSHA 30, general Contractor license.Great communication skills and ability to think on your feet.Comfortable working with or learning new software systems (e.g. Google Suite, Slack, Asana) Must have basic knowledge of HVAC and general familiarity with commercial building systemsMust have valid driver’s license; Willing to use personal vehicle w/Proof of insuranceWilling to work overtime and be on-call (for emergencies), including holidays and weekends
