Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Department: McKee Group Villages

Reports To: Director of Construction and Maintenance

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Location: Village of Neshaminy Falls, North Wales, PA

Summary: The McKee Group, a property management, home building, and real estate investment company, is seeking a talented and energetic individual who desires diversity in assignments and an opportunity for growth. The Maintenance Technician maintains and repairs physical structures of buildings and maintains grounds by performing the below duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include:

-Receives and responds to written work orders or verbal instructions from supervisor.

-Makes service calls and repairs to residents' homes as assigned by supervisor.

-Cuts grass and trims weeds on organization's property. Digs flower beds and plants flowers.

-Cleans internal areas of buildings, including buffing, dusting, sweeping, and mopping. Washes windows.

-Empties trash cans and consolidates trash for weekly pickup.

-Paints interior and exterior walls and trim.

-Assists in maintaining the water and wastewater distribution system.

-Installation of water and sewer services for homes.

-Repairs parking lot and sidewalks with asphalt, cold patching materials, and concrete.

-Operates snow removal equipment to maintain parking lots and sidewalks.

-Maintains and repairs buildings' plumbing and electrical systems, including replacing worn or defective parts such as switches and fuses. Repairs or replaces building brick, stone, and concrete.

-Maintains and repairs wood parts of buildings.

-Replaces worn or damaged parts such as hoses, wiring, and belts, in machines and equipment such as the truck, street sweeper, and riding mower.

-Assists other departments with moving furniture and unloading and storing supplies

-Other duties as assigned

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• None

Education and/or Experience:

• High school diploma or GED

• Water and Wastewater experience a plus

Computer Skills:

• Not necessary
