The University of Pennsylvania's Tobacco Use Research Center is recruiting smokers of at least 5 filtered, non-menthol cigarettes a day between the ages of 21-65 for a research study exploring how people smoke investigational low nicotine cigarettes.
Eligible participants will complete 8 in-person sessions over 5 weeks and receive investigational low nicotine cigarettes for 30 days at no cost. Most sessions will take about 1.5-2 hours to complete. Sessions will be scheduled Monday through Friday during business hours (8am-6pm) only. Participants will be compensated for their time and effort for each session they complete.
This is NOT a quit smoking program.
