Seeking part time individuals to join our property maintenance team.
Will need to diagnose maintenance issues, make necessary repairs and ensure all resident service requests and other maintenance is completed in a timely manner.
The qualified candidates must have a valid driver's license, own vehicle and auto insurance, own work tools, and cell phone to take and send pictures of job sites. Prior experience with being handy is a must. Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, drywall and carpentry is required. We're looking for someone reliable with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
What your day might look like:
Prepare apartments for new move in’s and complete “make-ready” process of vacant apartments
Complete resident service requests and repairs in a timely manner. Some examples are:
-replace water lines and install hot water tanks
-replace/patch/sanding drywall and painting
-install doors/screens, cabinets, windows, sink/toilet
-cleaning apartments- bathrooms, floors, appliances, yards
-flooring, carpentry, general repair work
Your required hours would generally be Monday - Friday, 10am to 4pm. As you prove your reliability, more work will be given to you. You're free to work longer hours but MUST be able to hit deadlines. Some weekends and/or evening hours may be necessary in emergency situations. The ideal candidate will have the flexibility to accept opportunities with little notice.
We do not have issues if you have another job BUT you must be reliable to complete a task assigned to you. A normal work day will consist of several hours and we will not waste your day for a simple task.
Must be able to complete a background check and respond to calls/texts within a timely manner.
