Title: Area supervisor for Warrington, Warminster and surrounding areas

Reports To: To regional manager, all company directors and area managers

Job summary: Work begins part-time in May with preparation of pools for opening weekend. From Memorial Day to Labor Day an Area supervisor will oversee the operations of approximately 10- 13 swimming pool facilities within a specific geographic area. Responsibilities include inspecting each facility at least twice a week, training pool staff in proper pool procedure, and ensuring all pools are run effectively and stay within Health Department regulations. Soliciting for any necessary parts or repairs, completing all minor repairs, as well as delivering and installing any pre-approved parts needed at a given facility. Area supervisors are responsible to make sure pools are adequately staffed at all given times in association with the contract for that facility. There will also be a need for mature, professional individuals who are motivated by challenges who will need to stay in direct relations with owner's representatives, Health Department officials and over 30 lifeguard personal.

Summary of essential job functions

Overseeing the 10 to 13 pools in their geographic area, by making sure they are adequately staffed at all times, have properly trained pool staff, the facilities are up to Health Department regulations, and all necessary repairs are taken care of to the best of their abilities. Along with being in direct relations with the owner's representatives, Health Department officials and over 30 lifeguard personnel.

Minimum requirements: Area Supervisors must have a working knowledge of aquatic operations, with a background of at least two years in pool management. Must possess an above- average skills in problem solving, mechanics, time management, as well exemplary public relations skills. Needs to be current with all certificates including: basic lifeguarding or lifeguarding training and CPR, with reliable transportation. Weekend work is mandatory for this position. Area Supervisors travel within their area, using their own vehicle. There is a weekly gas stipend for the use of your vehicle. Must have a car and a clean driving record. No Exceptions.

Abilities required: Being that this is a fast paced environment Area supervisors must be able to work under great emotional and mental demands from clients, Regional Managers, and lifeguards.
