Researchers, writers, experienced paralegals, those considering law school, and others with high quality research backgrounds are all encouraged to apply.
Job duties will include:
â¢ Reviewing new lawsuits filed in state and federal court, using criteria set by the firm to determine which cases are of interest
â¢ Reviewing enforcement actions and new lawsuits undertaken by regulatory bodies, state attorneys general, and the United States Justice Department
â¢ Reviewing publications and designated websites for new potential litigation opportunities
â¢ Communicating information about new case filings, regulatory actions, and news items to designated individuals and practice groups within the firm
â¢ Researching dockets and other information about pending cases on court litigation filing systems, including PACER and state court equivalents
A bachelor's degree with a strong research background, or a law degree, is required. Familiarity with Westlaw, PACER, state court docket systems is a plus, but not required. The firm is willing to train the right candidate on the use of these tools. Successful candidates will enjoy working in a collaborative environment that values diversity and inclusion.
