Dynamic Old City Public Relations firm with clients primarily in Center City Philly seeks A-player applicants for fall internships. College Junior and Senior PR students, journalism students, English majors are ideal. May be suitable for certain marketing and business majors.
Ideal candidates will be social media gurus and superior writers, have the ability to not only understand but follow tone, will exhibit excellent communication skills, and have great senses of humor matched only by killer work ethics. Responsibilities include rabid research, maintaining and updating lists and spinning out spectacular spreadsheets, answering phones with aplomb, doing more research, blogging like a pro, contributing to social media of agency and clients, drafting media alerts, contacting media, assisting with, and at, events.
Clients include some of the city's top restaurants, cocktail bars, fashion retailers and centers, hotels, non-profits, among others. Design skills don't hurt actually they're a big plus nor does good taste in music. Photo skills? Bring it.
This post is best suited for a college junior or senior seeking practical/resume-building experience and academic credit. Travel stipend available. Must be at least 21 years old.
