Planned Parenthood Southeastern Pennsylvania (PPSP) and Planned Parenthood Keystone (PPKeystone) are local affiliates of the countrys leading sexual and reproductive health care advocate and provider. Together these two affiliates operate 19 health centers throughout Berks, Bucks, Chester, Dauphin, Delaware, Lancaster, Lehigh, Luzerne, Montgomery, Philadelphia and York counties. The Purchasing & Inventory Assistant Manager position is full-time, 35 hours/week and responsible for ordering, receiving, and distributing all goods, materials and pharmaceuticals requested by affiliate administrative and program staff; monthly pharmaceutical inventory at warehouse and centers and annual inventory audit; training staff assigned to ordering at all centers; and to act as department Charge Person as needed. This position is also responsible to manage the eMapp ordering system including all vendor relationships and formulary discount management for 340B and 318 including HIN numbers; coordinate all formulary decision with Lead Clinician at both affiliates; relay changes to Next Gen administrators as needed; prepare monthly financial and inventory reports; and to research pricing and manage the competitive bidding process.

Candidate must possess a High School diploma or equivalent with relevant post-secondary education program or approximately two years of equivalent medical environment experience; outstanding written/oral communication, organizational, and customer service skills; arithmetic, analytical, and problem solving skills; advanced computer skills, including mastery of the Microsoft Office suite and ability to learn new applications quickly. Must perform well under stress, be able to work independently and collaboratively, and pay close attention to details. Must maintain confidentiality of sensitive information, demonstrate flexibility and teamwork, and incorporate customer satisfaction into all aspects of operation. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Experience with Afaxyx, eMapp, and QuickBooks accounting software is a plus.

This position will be based in center city Philadelphia and is required to travel to all 19 health centers.
