I am searching for a part-time, personal/office assistant. My company, Mastercrafters, Inc., is a small, full-service renovation and restoration firm with years of experience in all aspects of construction including additions, decks, plumbing, electrical, gutters, windows, doors and much more. I am looking for a versatile candidate who can take on office work involving construction projects and also provide personal assistance in managing a home and caring for a 9 year old daughter until school is in session. That personal assistance might involve grocery shopping, some home management as well as supporting the play and learning of an active nine-year-old. I am looking for someone willing to work 16 hours per week, possibly growing to 24 hours per week as needed.

The ideal candidate should be able to take direction when necessary but should also know when to take initiative and be a self-starter. Your job is to make my life organized and more manageable and to be a partner in accomplishing the goals that I set. The ideal candidate with have the following skills:

Ability to use your own reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Managing access to me by screening, drafting and issuing correspondence on my behalf (phone, email, mail)

Maintaining my personal social media accounts with business-facing postings.

Maintaining my calendar, scheduling meetings, and booking/confirming appointments

Setting up and maintaining an organizational system (filing, database, records).

Overall organization of the household

Conducting and compiling research

Personal household bookkeeping, managing expenses, and potentially bill paying.

Running errands for the home and business as needed.

Overseeing various handy persons for the home as needed.
