Job Description

Apex Systems is looking for a Deployment Specialist / Migration Technician to migrate client systems and end user data from Windows 7 to Windows 10. The successful candidate will have the ability to identify problems, apply optimal solutions, and communicate and escalate issues to leadership as appropriate. General Requirements

• Previous experience migrating desktops and laptops from Windows 7 to Windows 10
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Exceptional customer service acumen up to the executive level
• Ability to maintain the integrity and confidentiality of sensitive information
• Must be able to physically lift and move workstation equipment
• Experience with Federal government is preferred, but not required

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Migrates client systems and end user data from Windows 7 to Windows 10
• Resolves simple and complex workstation integration and networking issues at the hardware, software, and operating system levels

Key Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Strong Windows 10 troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory
