Looking for an experienced sales associate to join my team, here at Retail Robinhood LLC. We are an online wholesale business specializing in buying/selling liquidation pallets to help drive our prices down. We get our inventory from nearly all major retailers including, Home Depot, Walmart, Lowe's, Target, Best Buy, Dicks Sporting Goods, Rally House, Macy's, Nordstroms, LensCrafters to name a few. In our inventory, categories range anywhere from tools, to jewelry, to clothing, to sporting gear, to baby items like diapers, to video games and other electronics, to appliances and so much more. We get our inventory at a fraction of the cost of retail value, and we pass that savings onto our customers.
Sales associates must be adaptable and well-versed in retail products in general since we sell everything. You have to be able to sell anything from iPhones to flooring to Kiitchen Aid Mixers to Rolexes and everything in between. Must have experience on social media marketing and be able to create online posts for items you will be responsible for selling, as well as strong online communication skills. On top of this sales associates must have experience with in-person sales. We work with all sorts of businesses supplying their needs for cheap, and most of our customers become repeat buyers so I need someone who can build a relationship with the clients.
Associates need to be able to represent my company, and continue to boost our positive reputation. They must appear and act in a respectable and professional manner, while simultaneously persuading our customers to purchase additional products.
I will pay $30//hr plus a 15% commission rate on all items that you sell, or 45% commission of sales with 3.5/hourly (whichever is more that week). I'm currently completely overwhelmed and swamped with the number of customers order. It's not humanly possible for only one person. So I'm just leaving money on the table not being able to get to everyone. But I've also put a lot of time and effort into this business and have created a strong reputation and a solid clientele. I cannot have it all be ruined by a sales associate who supposed to be representing my business.
I need someone patient, respectful, flexible, responsible, able to keep up with a large number of customers, good at multitasking, organized, professional, and intelligent/competent enough to make executive decision on the spot. For instance, depending on the circumstance you might be asked to come up with a value for a specific combination of items that wasn't originally planned. I need someone I can trust will get me a number that I would be satisfied with.
You will have a lot of freedom and autonomy to do whatever you would like as long as the items get sold and you have the numbers to support it, then I don't care how you get there. Just as long as the items are all sold on schedule then you have the independence to choose how you spend your time in order to achieve it. I do not expect to see you very frequently throughout the week. Perhaps here and there to pick up the inventory you are selling for the upcoming week (if u don't want me to just ship it to the customer for u). Otherwise you're on your own to sell the items the way that you want to on your own time. But you must meet deadlines! This will receive very few strikes before you are terminated if you cannot accomplish it. You will be expected to keep track of your own hours at least any hours that are not already pre-recorded through our system. I will be competitive with the wages and I'm willing to negotiate if you have the experience to support a higher pay.
