We have a current opportunity for Senior Microsoft Stack Developer in Philadelphia, PA. As a Senior Developer, you will lead a small team in delivering a highly visible, critical business application supporting our clientâs organizational financial management. Duties and Responsibilities:
⢠Responsible for design, coding, testing, debugging, documentation, delivery and support of custom applications
⢠Works with product team and leads development team in architecture design including object models, routing, rule engine, service development, and front-end consistency
⢠Performs code reviews ensuring object models, logic, services, and front-end are consistently delivered and properly documented
⢠Owns delivery process via Azure DevOps Pipelines including code reviews, dev, and prod pipelines
⢠Integrate custom application with COTS business systems
⢠Collaborate with other Technical Leads and subject matter experts in the technical assessment of new designs and development work
⢠Works with Product Owner and Scrum Master to determine priority and estimate timelines
⢠Participate in Agile ceremonies for planning, demos, and retros
⢠Leads, mentors, and manages team of developers
⢠Establishes and reinforces software development standards
Qualifications:
⢠Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Software Engineering or related field; or equivalent work experience.
⢠7+ years recent experience in application development with Microsoft .NET stack and latest versions of MVC, with ASP.NET, C#, Web Forms, Web Services (XML, SOAP, WCF, REST) and SQL Server (SQL)
⢠10+ years overall IT software experience gaining, through education and/or practical experience, an advanced-level operational knowledge of various coding constructs and languages
⢠In-depth knowledge of design patterns, web standards and best practices (development and support)
⢠7+ years hands on experience with C#, Angular, JavaScript, API development, and related frameworks
⢠Required experience with SQL Server, LINQ, Entity Framework, SOA, MVC, MVVM, Web Services, REST, .NET
⢠2+ years working with Azure PaaS tools, Azure DevOps or similar technologies
⢠2+ years experience integrating custom built applications with off the shelf business systems
⢠2+ years hands-on experience integrating with Salesforce preferred
⢠Working knowledge of Fluent Validations
⢠Hands on queuing experience; RabbitMQ, Akka.Net or MSMQ
⢠Experience developing to Active Directory Authentication
⢠5+ years database design and development using MS SQL
⢠Experience delivering software via Agile/Scrum team, preferably in a Senior Developer/Architect role
⢠Self-motivated, resourceful, independent and takes on the initiative to learn new technologies
⢠Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to understand others and clearly express thoughts
⢠Is capable of successfully completing federal background check for security clearance
⢠Does not require visa sponsorship.
This is a direct hire opportunity for permanent employment. Hourly rate range is $40-50, or $90,000 - $104,000 annually depending on credentials and experience. This position is eligible for bonuses. Relocation assistance is available.
