SUMMARY:
Join Pohlig Homes as an Assistant Superintendent and become a key member of our field-based construction team. This is a hands-on, on-the-jobsite position — not an office role. Working closely with our Superintendent, you’ll help keep projects on schedule, uphold our craftsmanship standards, and maintain a safe, organized worksite.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work on-site daily, supporting the Superintendent with all aspects of field operations.
- Coordinate trades, materials, and deliveries to maintain efficient job progress.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized jobsite at all times.
- Prepare each area for upcoming trades and confirm readiness before work begins.
- Review and inspect trade checklists to ensure quality and completion.
- Communicate effectively with team members, trade partners, and management.
- Read and interpret architectural plans and specifications accurately.
- Apply and learn Pohlig Homes’ construction standards and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of construction-related education or field experience.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Comfortable working outdoors and performing physical work in all weather conditions.
- Proficient with hand and power tools; understands safe and proper use.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
