Job Description and Responsibilities :

This position manages and coordinates all field construction activities. Provides direction and management for telecommunication projects and ensures on-schedule completion within or below budget in accordance with contractual obligations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Serve as a point of contact between Empire and the subcontractors, landlords and the customer.

Check in with and provide notice to site landlords and tower owners.

Conduct pre-construction site walks (w/sub if possible).

Coordinate materials for site and ensure material delivery and return.

Verify tower climbers certifications are up to date.

Review daily site reports and submit to management

Review daily subcontractor JSAs.

Report to Lead CM and PMs throughout the day on site progress and any site issues that arise.

Provide on-site construction supervision and work out solutions to any problems that arise.

Review and approve closeouts for completed sites which includes filing out the MS126 Form, approving redlines, checking RET worksheet and daily driver/financial true-ups like submitted WAs.

Submit closeout package to tower owner/landlord if required.

Provide overall site management and ensure the continued progress of construction on assigned sites.

Ensure safety and quality standards are met.

Provide full support to crews on site, and train/instruct as needed.

Ensure the adherence of Empire build standards, safety protocols and all procedures.

Other duties as assigned.

Requirements :

Education:

Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in construction or engineering or equivalent work experience

Experience:

Two (2) to Four (4) years wireless site construction experience

Certifications:

First Aid and CPR

OSHA 10-Hour Construction Training

Technical Skills:

Computer and Microsoft Office proficiency

Working knowledge of the wireless infrastructure development process, site acquisition, zoning, permitting, civil construction, and RF equipment installation

Soft Skills:

Highly organized and detail oriented

Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment

Superior time management skills; must be able to meet strict deadlines

Ability to think analytically, apply sound judgment, and solve problems

Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams

Ability to work with all levels of management and staff

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to pass pre-employment screening that includes background and drug testing

Must have a valid drivers license and a driving record that meets Company requirements

Comfortable working in an outdoor and indoor work environment and in extreme weather conditions

Must be able to travel to customer sites as needed, up to 75% travel

Must be able to sit at a desk and/or work on a computer for 6-8 hours per day

May be required to work long and unpredictable hours
