HVAC Technician (Commercial & Residential)
Location: Based in Lancaster County, PA — with projects expanding into Delaware and Maryland
Pay: $25.00 – $39.00 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (occasional Saturdays as needed)
Duration: Temp-to-Hire
On-Call Rotation: Approximately 3 times per year

This position involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of a variety of HVAC systems in both residential and commercial environments. The ideal candidate has solid technical knowledge, strong troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Install, diagnose, and repair HVAC systems using hand tools, blueprints, wiring/piping diagrams, and engineering specifications.
Operate refrigerant recovery equipment, vacuum pumps, charging tools, and service gauges.
Troubleshoot HVAC components and ensure all systems meet design and performance specifications.
Perform routine maintenance and operational checks on HVAC and related equipment.
Conduct start-ups, repairs, and overhauls of commercial HVAC systems.
Record temperature, pressure, and performance data accurately.
Complete job documentation and service records promptly and accurately.
Stay up to date with manufacturer updates and new HVAC technologies.
Support the team by participating in an on-call rotation (approximately 3 times per year).
Experience with VAV/VVT systems and building controls (ATC Temperature, electronic and pneumatic) is preferred.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; technical training or HVAC certification preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of HVAC service experience (preferred).
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required to operate company vehicle).
Must pass a drug test and background check.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various environmental conditions.
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Professional attitude with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Working Conditions
Field-based position with travel to residential and commercial job sites across PA, DE, and MD.
May require occasional overtime, weekend work, or limited on-call hours.
Company vehicle and tools provided for fieldwork.
