Receiving experience with the administrative tasking’s of Out-patient services

Experience working with electronic medical records

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health’s Phoenixville office provides programs and services for children and adolescents with a range of disabilities- from physical to developmental, psychiatric and behavioral issues. Located in Phoenixville, PA, this position is responsible for answering and directing calls, greeting and directing visitors and various administrative tasks including but not limited to maintaining records; preparing documents, responding to routine requests, and other duties as assigned. Additionally, will complete prior authorizations for medications. Maintain commercial authorizations for the Outpatient Program and enters all authorizations into electronic medical records. Schedule appointments and services for clients assigned to CDS program. Verify insurance coverage for outpatient cleints at the time of each visit and will follow up with client/family as appropriate. Will assist Business manager to track and code and sign off on all expense reports weekly.Keywords: administrative, clerical, front office, medical records, receptionist, customer service, healthcare, secretaryQualifications

High School diploma or GED required

One (1) year experience in an administrative role required (clerical/secretary/receptionist)

Must have excellent customer service skills, strong computers skills and ability to multi-task

Physical Requirements: Significant and frequent amounts of walking, sitting, bending, and standing. Frequent use of office equipment. Normal hearing (or corrected to normal).
